Year 5 had a fantastic STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Challenge day, organised by the RAF. They participated in two online challenges: firstly, building rockets and then investigating the effect of air resistance, gravity, angle of flight, number of tail fins and payload on the range of their rocket; secondly, designing a sustainable aircraft with a clear purpose for the future.
